AutoConcept faced a critical shift. Their existing infrastructure was outdated, hard to scale, and vulnerable, which hindered growth and increased the risk of downtime and security incidents. To secure the business and meet modern security requirements, a completely new solution was needed.

Challenge

AutoConcept lacked redundancy, meaning that in the event of a fire or other disaster, operations could come to a halt. The hardware, including switches and servers, was over ten years old and unsupported. The existing solution was unstable, not fully supported by Microsoft, and difficult to scale without high costs and extensive support efforts. This left the company vulnerable to attacks and increased both maintenance needs and expenses.

Our Contribution

We helped AutoConcept modernize and secure their IT environment by migrating the file server to SharePoint, decommissioning on-site servers, moving virtual servers to a hosted environment with an upgrade to Windows Server 2025, and implementing modern client management along with extended backup for Microsoft 365.

Services Used

We employed a combination of services to complete the project:

  • Consulting services including migration, installation of virtual servers, documentation, and functional testing

  • TeQflo’s datacenter for hosted environment and underlying platform management

  • TeQflo’s Cloud Application Backup service for secure and reliable data management

  • License management including upgrade and administration of Microsoft 365 licenses

Results

After the project, AutoConcept achieved higher operational reliability and could work independently of physical infrastructure, requiring only an internet connection. The environment became scalable for hundreds of users without major investments and flexible to scale up or down as needed. The customer was also able to work more smoothly and integrate new systems easily with Single Sign-On.
